2025 Pool Application Information

 

WALDEN COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION, INC. 2025 Walden Swim and Tennis Club Pool Fees

 

Walden residents in good standing (all HOA dues have been paid) may apply for a 2025 pool season household membership.

Non-Walden residents may also apply.

Inside Walden Cost $500

Outside Walden Cost $670

There is a service fee if you would like to pay by credit card. 

If you prefer to pay by check or cash, there is no service fee.  You must mail your payment to the PO Box or drop it off during business hours at the clubhouse.

WCA Resident/Tenant Membership: We will continue to use the digital pool pass system for the upcoming season. In terms of COVID-19 or any other outbreak, Walden Swim and Tennis will follow all regulations and rules from government agencies. As a result, rules and regulations are subject to change.

 

Household Definition: Only family members who reside in the home 12 months a year can be pool members. All others are considered guests.

·     Proof of residency is required from ALL adults. (If you have been a member in the past 4 years, we have your information and it does not need to be sent again unless something has changed) 

·        Includes up to 8 members: 4 Adults (18 and Older) and 4 Children (17 and Younger) MAXIMUM of 4 Adults;

·        Additional adults may be added for a fee of $75 per adult. Two Babysitter, Nanny, Au pair, or Mother’s Helper (Will Not need a Copy of Photo ID) can be added as an extended member to the current membership

·        Anyone over the age of 18 is subject to an ID check at any time.

·        To guarantee your passes for Opening Day (May 24, 2025), you must have your completed application by May 10, 2025. After that date, spaces will be available, but passes MAY NOT be completed in time for Opening Day.

·        Please watch for your check to clear or credit card confirmation - this is the only membership confirmation you will receive.

·        There is a 2-week processing time for checks to clear.

·        Space is limited. Completed applications are processed on a first come/first serve basis. Incomplete applications will not be processed. 

·        Please make checks payable to “Walden Swim and Tennis.” Online Application must be completed before membership is approved. You can bring / mail your check to Walden Country Club or mail to our P.O. Box.

·        There will be a $30.00 Returned Check Fee for any Returned Checks. 

 

Important Things to Know: 

• Children who are NOT potty trained may NOT swim in the adult pool. There will be NO swimming diapers/pull-ups in the adult pool. Pool closures resulting in “accidents” will result in a fine.

 • U. S. Coast Guard-approved Type 2 Puddle Jumpers will be permitted in the big pool under certain restrictions. Please see Pool Rules for more information. 

• Noodles or kickboards are permitted to be used by patrons who can swim on their own without a floatation device. Misuse of the flotation devices could result in the removal of the pool access.

• All alcoholic beverages MUST be purchased from Walden Country Club. Outside alcoholic beverages are prohibited. Violation of this rule could result in revocation of pool membership

·        Your cooler is subject to checking at any time.

• Tennis / Pickleball memberships are included with the pool.

·        There are 2 or 3 Home Swim Meets during the season – dates TBD

o   The pool will close at 8pm on the Friday night before the meet and reopen on Saturday at 1pm after the meet is completed. 

o   Swim Team also may have a team party on a Monday or Tuesday near the end of July 

Hours of Operation: On Public School days, the hours of operation will be:

·        Monday-Thursday: 3 pm – 8 pm

·        Friday: 3 pm – 9 pm

·        Saturday 11am – 9pm

·        Sunday 11am – 8pm

 When public schools are closed, the hours of operation will be:

·        Sunday-Thursday: 11am – 8 pm 

·        Friday-Saturday: 11am – 9 pm 

 

 OPEN HOUSE: Open House is currently scheduled for Saturday, May 17 from 11 – 2 pm at the Pool -weather permitting or the Clubhouse. Questions about the pool, swim team, lessons, Tennis, etc. can be answered. This is a fun event for the family with games for the kids, new menu items, and more. Mark your calendar so you won’t miss it. 

 

POOL PASSES: Once your application is approved and processed, you will receive a “welcome” email with instructions on how to access your 2025 pool passes from [email protected]. We are no longer printing pool passes, as a digital copy of each pass will be available for you to upload to your digital wallet.  Please delete last year’s pass. 

 

GUEST PASSES FOR POOL AND TENNIS/PICKLEBALL COURT: 

·        A 2025 Walden Swim & Tennis Club membership includes 3 guest passes.

·        These will be automatically available after you access your passes.  

·        Additional guest passes will be available for purchase at a cost of $8.50 each plus the Credit Card Fee. 

·        THERE WILL BE NO BUYING PASSES AT THE DOOR ALL GUESTS MUST BE PAID ONLINE (https://swimmingpoolpasses.net/walden-swim-and-tennis/).

·        Patrons under the age of 16 may not bring more than 2 guests without an adult present. 

·        Guest Passes EXPIRE at the end of each season and are nonrefundable.

·        Usage of Pool and Tennis/Pickleball Court Require a Pool Pass for Entry.

Swim Lessons: Lifeguards will offer Group and Private lessons. Space will be limited. Sign up for during Open House in May. 

 

Hours for Bartender and Runner at Pool:

Friday 5pm-8pm

Saturday 12pm-7pm

Sunday 12pm-6pm

*Runners and Bartenders are subject to not being there due to weather and as they are available.

 

 

As a member of the Walden Swim & Tennis Club, you will be informed of special events that happen throughout the year at Walden Country Club and the pool. You are welcome to visit the club to enjoy food, drinks, and family activities.  A Cover up and shoes must be worn when entering the clubhouse.
